Image Guidelines
Please read these Image Guidelines & review examples below to maximize the quality of your order:
Upload or take a photo of your house during daylight
Use a smartphone or high-quality camera
Optional: Mount on a tripod to avoid any shaking/blurriness
Close garage doors
Remove any cars from the driveway and/or front of the house
Hide unwanted items in the photo (trash cans, bicycles, basketball nets, garden hoses, etc.). If these are unavoidable, please include multiple photos of the house and provide an address so I may view the house from Google Maps/Apple Maps and remove the unwanted object(s).
Photos front-facing and centering the house are always a safe bet. You are encouraged to include at least one of these in your image submission but feel free to experiment with different angles. I also provide free image feedback if you are unsure.
Images from real estate websites (e.g., Zillow) and Google Maps are also accepted.
Remember these are guidelines, not rules! Try and fulfill as many as possible, and I will take care of the rest.
Great Photo
Front-facing and centered — good call!
Picture quality is very clear
No cars in the driveway
Photo taken during the day with few shadows on the actual house
This would make a great 11” x 14” painting! Check out this photo as a painting here
Not-So-Great Photo
The house is covered by a tree
People are in the picture
Garbage and recycling are on the boulevard
